Support for Schools

Supporting children and young people in understanding their place in the world is a fundamental part of their education.  One of the most effective ways of ensuring this happens is by children having first-hand contact with their counterparts in other schools elsewhere in Europe and around the world.  Many schools have been very successful in this field, but each new generation of teachers – as with any other area of expertise – needs help in being successful and learning what works and what doesn’t.

We have been active in this field for over twenty five years, and we have been privileged to have supported many hundreds of teachers and through them thousands of pupils in experiencing an international dimension in their school.  We have learnt that being successful requires four things: support from the top of the school, one or more enthusiastic teachers to lead the activity, an effective plan and – most important of all – a good understanding of how to do it.

If you want to make a school connection somewhere in the world, we know how to do that: we have a very wide global network of interested educationalists.

We can provide:

  • Consultancy support in needs analysis, planning, development and delivery;
  • Support in making successful funding bids including for Erasmus+;
  • Help and support in successful identification of partner schools;
  • Help and support with international staff development and events.

It may be that one day of consultancy is all you need to move things forward, or it may be that you want longer term on-call support – or perhaps a combination of support. Maybe you would like to get together a group of schools for a workshop. We tailor our support to suit your needs.  To start the ball rolling please give us a call or send us an e-mail: we would very much like to hear from you.
